2023 FEATURED GUEST DESIGN
The featured guest design for the 2023 inaugural Ovarian Cancer Socks campaign has been designed by Zoe Conde (Digga Australia CEO and daughter of former Digga Australia CEO and Managing Director, Suzie Wright), inspired by memories of her mother, Suzie, who sadly passed away from ovarian cancer in 2018.
Remembered for her incredible leadership, elegance and boldness, the design features a striking, red-haired Suzie surrounded by her favourite flower, the lily, and two birds in flight that represent the concept of freedom at the heart of the campaign to see, ‘Every woman. Everywhere. Free from the threat of Ovarian Cancer.'
It's time to find a cure
There is currently no early detection test for ovarian cancer. As a result, around 70% of women are diagnosed in the advanced stages where only 29% are expected to live beyond five years. Even if treatment succeeds in removing the cancer, there is an 80% chance of remission.
Research makes a huge difference
Chronic underfunding of ovarian cancer research has resulted in a very low survival rate (49%) compared to other cancers like breast cancer (92%) and prostate cancer (96%) which have benefited from a high level of awareness and funding.

My beautiful daughter in law passed away from this insidious cancer in August last year. My son is still devastated as are his whole family. I saw the opportunity to buy these socks and wanted to buy 1 box for my wife for Xmas. I told my wife and she said get 6 boxes. The quality is great as is the presentation and it is an opportunity to again donate to this worthy cause. Make these readily available everywhere! One suggestion would be to create the same items more suitable for males to wear as I, along with my son have suffered as much as the women in our extened family. This maybe an illness that directly affects women but men suffer as much from the consequences.
I loved the 3 pairs of beautifully boxed and designed socks. If was also important to understand the history behind the socks and I appreciated being able to read about why Digga is involved with the manufacture of the socks.
